This page does not list open roles. BEGHR recruits veterinary technicians for veterinary employers. Send your resume and a recruiter will contact you when a search matches what you want.
For veterinarians
Are you a veterinarian, not an employer?
This site is for practices that are hiring. If you are a veterinarian considering your next role, send your resume to Business Executive Group and a recruiter will review it against current and upcoming searches.
Sending a resume is not an application to a named job and does not create an employment relationship. BEGHR shares your details with an employer only after you agree to it.
What tends to decide fit
Across searches, the things candidates most often raise are the same few. Being clear on them early avoids interviews that were never going to work.
- Say which clinical tasks you are trained and credentialed for.
- Give your availability, including whether you can cover evenings or weekends.
- Note the practice settings you want, such as general practice, emergency or specialty.
What to send
A recruiter can only act on what you actually tell them. Give enough that a role can be matched to you without a second round of questions.
- Your resume, the role you want and the geography you would work in.
- The states you hold a license in, and your availability.
- Anything that rules a role out, such as no overnights or no relocation.
Working in the Memphis area
Name the street address, municipality and county. Memphis is the large central city, while Germantown, Collierville, Bartlett, Lakeland, Arlington and Millington are separate Shelby County municipalities, and Atoka, Munford, Covington, Oakland, Somerville and Piperton are separate Tipton and Fayette county places. Cordova, Raleigh, Hickory Hill, Whitehaven, East Memphis and Midtown are neighborhoods inside the City of Memphis. The Memphis metropolitan statistical area also reaches into Mississippi and Arkansas, and coverage on this site is limited to Tennessee, because a hospital in another state falls under a different licensing authority.

Tennessee licenses veterinarians and Licensed Veterinary Medical Technicians through the Board of Veterinary Medical Examiners within the Department of Health. The Board’s application instructions list the North American Veterinary Licensing Examination score for the examination route, and proof of recent practice and continuing education for a veterinarian licensed in another state. Assign a person to verify license status and the expiration date, record the verification date and resolve questions with the Board. Check any specialty credentials the employer requires with the issuing organization.
